Americo Izzo
About the Client
Americo Izzo — known as Rico — is a classically trained master jeweler based in New York City. He took over his family’s shop in the early 2000s and has spent decades becoming one of the most sought-after high jewelry craftsmen in the city. The top jewelry houses come to him to set their rarest stones. His process is entirely by hand: he pulls wire for prongs, solders each setting individually, and pre-polishes in places the naked eye will never see. His work is bespoke luxury in the truest sense — but until recently, finding him required knowing someone who knew someone.
The Challenge
Rico’s reputation lived entirely by word of mouth. The challenge wasn’t making him look credible — his work speaks for itself. The challenge was creating a digital presence worthy of what he does, one that conveyed the intimacy, craft, and rarity of working with him without making it feel mass-market or commercial. His clients expect exclusivity. The site had to feel that way.
What We Built
We built a site that functions like an intimate portrait of the work — photography-first, copy that reads like an invitation rather than a sales pitch, and a clean structure that guides a serious buyer toward making contact. No distractions, no unnecessary pages. Just the work, the story behind it, and a clear path to reaching him.
The Result
For the first time, Rico’s coveted artistry is discoverable outside his existing network. The site extends his reach while maintaining the feeling of exclusivity his clients expect. A hidden gem that no longer needs to stay hidden.
